My client, living in an inner city Melbourne apartment, wanted to create a space that was calm, modern and neutral. I used light coloured woods on the flooring and furniture to enhance the light bright feel of the space, as well as softer textiles to add texture to the space. Mirrors and reeded glass kept the space feeling modern, while a floor to ceiling walk in wardrobe provided ample storage for her shoes & clothing. A David Trubridge “Kina” pendant ceiling light adds an architectural element to the space, and hanging frosted globe lights add a soft cosy glow to the space.
